Terms of Service

Products & Services
CWSS supplies bulk and palletized salt products, including water softener salt, ice melt, and agricultural salts. Product availability, pricing, and delivery methods may vary by season and location.

Delivery & Unloading
Customer is responsible for unloading all deliveries. CWSS does not provide unloading labor or equipment unless agreed to in writing. Deliveries may arrive via flatbed, straight truck, or trailer. Any delays, detention, re-delivery, or additional charges caused by unloading issues are the Customer’s responsibility.

Risk of Loss
Ownership and risk transfer to the Customer once the product is on site and accessible for unloading. CWSS is not responsible for damage occurring during unloading or due to site conditions.

Site Access & Safety
Customer is responsible for safe and accessible delivery conditions. CWSS is not liable for damage to driveways, pavement, curbs, landscaping, underground utilities, or structures caused by delivery vehicles accessing the site.

Payment Terms & Fees
Payment terms are Net 15 unless otherwise stated. A 5% late fee will be applied every 15 days on past-due balances. Credit card payments incur a 3% processing surcharge. CWSS may suspend service or cancel orders due to non-payment.

Order Changes & Refusal of Service
Orders canceled after dispatch may be subject to freight and handling charges. CWSS reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion. Any prepaid amounts for unfulfilled orders will be refunded unless otherwise stated.

Force Majeure
CWSS is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond its control, including weather, transportation delays, labor issues, supply disruptions, or government actions.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Acceptance
Use of CWSS services constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
