Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective January 1, 2026

This Policy governs all product sales and deliveries by Central Washington Salt Supply LLC (“CWSS”). By placing an order, the customer agrees to the following terms.

  1. Order Confirmation. Orders are final once invoiced,
    staged, loaded, or dispatched. CWSS may refuse or cancel orders prior to fulfillment at its discretion.
  2. Cancellations. Orders canceled at least 24 hours prior to scheduled delivery or pickup (and before staging/loading) may be canceled without penalty. If product has been staged or loaded, a 15% restocking fee may apply. Freight, fuel, and special-order products are non-refundable. Refused deliveries are subject to round-trip freight charges and up to a 20% restocking fee.
  3.  Returns. Returns require written approval within 7 days of delivery. Product must be unopened, dry, and in resalable condition. Opened bags, wet/damaged product, special orders, seasonal ice melt after January 31, and delivered agricultural/feed salts are non-returnable. Customer is responsible for return freight unless otherwise agreed.
  4. Damaged or Short Shipments. All deliveries must be
    inspected upon receipt. Claims must be noted on delivery receipt and reported within 24 hours. Photographs may be required. Failure to report within 24 hours voids claim eligibility.
  5.  Refund Processing. Approved refunds will be issued within 7–10 business days to the original payment method or as account credit. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
  6. Seasonal & Force Majeure. Ice melt and de-icing products are seasonal commodities subject to allocation and weather-driven volatility. CWSS is not liable for delays or non-performance due to weather, transportation issues, manufacturer shortages, or events beyond its control.
  7. Limitation of Liability. CWSS liability is limited to the purchase price of the product sold. CWSS is not responsible for improper storage, moisture exposure, unloading damage, or labor costs.
